On 25th February 1986. Orissa Industries Association has come out as a registered Industries Association bearing registration No. 8960/14-1985-86,under Society registration act 1860 under articles ……..by the founder member Sri Abani Kanungo.
In the same year Sri Abani Kanungo was the first president comprising of valued member in the subsequently the organization followed by Sri Pramod Acharya, Sri Arjun Charan Nayak, Sri Kamalkanta Parida, Sri Sudhir Charan Samal, Sri Banambar Mohanty, Sri Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, Sri Choudhury Biranchi Narayan Mishra, Late Sri K.L.Chandak, Sri Manoj Subudhi & Sri R.N.Chottaray whose able stewardship has lead the organization since that period to the present status. In the 1987 OIA brought to his own building which located in phase-I of New Industrial Estate Jagatpur.
